		<description>Well, yes and no.  You can have 2 company files.  In fact, you can have as many company files as you want.  But, you can only have one open at a time.  The only way around that would be to have two different versions of QuickBooks installed.  For instance, you could have Company A open in QB2006 and at the same time have Company B open in QB2007.  Fortunately, it&#039;s really easy to switch from company to company in a single version of QuickBooks.  You just have to be careful and know which one you are using when you create new transactions.</description>
